The People Speak are bringing Talkaoke, an interactive talk-show where the participants are the hosts and decide on the subjects, to Knowle West!
This special workshop is a chance to gain confidence and skills in the art of conversation.
Armed with wigs and props, Mikey and Margot, from The People Speak, will cover subjects such as: asking open questions, usefulness of tangents, exploration of assumptions, dealing with opposing views, active listening and how to generate ideas in a fun way!
There will be time to share your thoughts, experiences and ideas. Then during a live Talkaoke event at Knowle West Fest Saturday 5th Aug you’ll have the chance to put your new skills into practice.
This workshop is free and includes lunch (optional). If you want to participate as a host at KWfest you will receive vouchers as payment for your contributions.
