DESCRIPTION:\nENGLISH: We’re delighted to announce Talkaoke’s big premiere at BUW – University of Warsaw Library\, Poland in collaboration with The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw. Join us at for a morning of conversations and vibes! Session will be hosted in Polish (12:00-13:00) and English (13:14:00). \nPOLISH: Premiera Talkaoke w siedzibie BUW – Bibiliotece Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego\, we wsółpracy z Uniwersyteckim Centrum Wolontariatu. Zapraszamy na Talkaoke gdzie każdy będzie mógł wziąć udział w naszym legendarnym talk show. Będzie vibe! Sesja prowadzona po polsku (12:00-13:00) i po angielsku (13:00-14:00). \n\n\n\nENGLISH VERSION: WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE NIGHT\nTalkaoke is a pop-up talk show unlike anything else – a glowing round table\, a host in the middle\, and you driving the conversation. No agenda. No script. It’s up to you to decide on the direction of the chat. Grab the mic and take the conversation somewhere nobody expected. It can get funny\, philosophical\, political\, surreal or all of the above. Every voice matters. Every idea is welcome. On the night you are welcome to join our glowing ‘doughnut of chat’ for 5 mins or longer\, you can listen or take the mic and offer a new subject. It’s up to you. \nTalkaoke has been sparking unexpected conversations on street corners\, at festivals\, cultural events\, universities\, museums\, youth clubs (…) in the UK and all over the world. We appear everywhere there are people and a need to chat. The People Speak is an East London art collective behind Talkaoke. For us conversation is a creative medium. For almost three decades we have been creating live events that bring strangers together and help with collective decision making. We also run creative facilitation workshops based on our Talkaoke experience. In the world of polarisation our formats aim to create spaces where differences of opinion is encouraged and explored through a shared journey. \nJust show up. The conversation will do the rest. \nThe Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw is the first initiative of its kind in Poland\, offering a wide range of opportunities – from volunteering and social campaigns to workshops\, events\, and projects for the academic community. Since 2013\, we have supported the development of skills\, promoted ethical values\, and fostered integration within the University of Warsaw community. \n\n  \nPOLISH VERSION: CZEGO SPODZIEWAĆ SIĘ PODCZAS WIECZORU\nTalkaoke to spontaniczny talk-show\, jakiego jeszcze nie widzieliście – lśniący\, okrągły stół\, prowadzący w samym środku i Ty u sterów rozmowy. Bez narzuconych tematów. Bez scenariusza. To od Ciebie zależy\, w jakim kierunku potoczy się dyskusja. Chwyć za mikrofon i skieruj rozmowę na tory\, których nikt się nie spodziewał. Może być zabawnie\, filozoficznie\, politycznie\, surrealistycznie lub wszystko naraz. Każdy głos ma znaczenie. Każdy pomysł jest mile widziany. Możesz przysiąść się do naszego ‘obwarzanka’ Talkaoke na 5 minut lub na dłużej\, możesz słuchać lub wrzycić nowy temat. To zależy od Ciebie. \nTalkaoke od lat prowokuje nieoczywiste dyskusje pojawiając się na ulicach\, festiwalach\, wydarzeniach kulturalnych\, uczelniach\, w muzeach (…) w Wielkiej Brytanii i na świecie\, czyli wszędzie tam\, gdzie są ludzie i potrzeba rozmowy. The People Speak to kolektyw artystyczny ze wschodniego Londynu stojący za Talkaoke. Dla nas rozmowa jest kreatywnym medium. Od niemal trzydziestu lat tworzmy wydarzenia\, które zbliżają do siebie ludzi i pomagają podejmować wpólne decyzje. Prowadzimy też warsztaty z kreatywnej komunikacji w oparciu o metodę Talkaoke. W świecie pełnym polaryzacji tworzymy przestrzeń\, w której różnice zdań jest zaproszeniem do wspólnej podróży. \nPo prostu przyjdź. Rozmowa zajmie się resztą. \nUniwersyteckie Centrum Wolontariatu UW to pierwsza tego typu jednostka w Polsce\, oferująca różnorodne formy zaangażowania – od wolontariatu i akcji społecznych po warsztaty\, wydarzenia i projekty dla społeczności akademickiej.
