DESCRIPTION:Location: between Pembury Co-Op and The Vincent on Dalston Lane\, E8 1FN and online – register here to participate on Zoom \nFollowing a successful Talkaoke session in July we are back in Hackney with the residents of Anchor Hannover and everyone else who has things to say! Join us for a live pop up talkshow\, where everyone is invited to grab the mic and suggest a conversation topic. In this hybrid event you are welcome to join online via the Zoom link and instantly connect with the participants on the street. \n \nHow does Talkaoke work?\nIt’s simple: the Talkaoke host sits in the middle of a round table and you\, the participants\, sit at small tables close by. Each table has a mic and you are invited to talk about anything they like. Each discussion is a journey from one unexpected subject to another: it can be topical\, funny\, deep\, surreal\, and everything in between. The conversation will be visualised live by a digital illustrator. It’s a drop in – so feel free to stay for as long or as little as you can. \nHow can I join Talkaoke? \nJust come to the location in Hackney or join us from home using your computer or another digital device connecting via Zoom link here. \nIs the event Covid-secure? \nYes. Talkaoke will take place in a socially distanced environment. We ask participants to wear face masks\, stay in their bubbles and use hand gels provided in line with the safety procedures.
