DESCRIPTION:Talkaoke is returning to Hackney and you are invited! Join us for a live in person pop up talkshow\, where everyone is invited to grab the mic and suggest a conversation topic. We will be exploring the themes suggested by the local Peabody residents and finding out what they would like to see happening in their community post-pandemic. \nHow does Talkaoke work?\nIt’s simple: the Talkaoke host sits in the middle of a round table and you\, the participants\, sit at small tables close by. Each table has a mic and you are invited to talk about anything they like. Each discussion is a journey from one unexpected subject to another: it can be topical\, funny\, deep\, surreal\, and everything in between. The conversation will be visualised live by a digital illustrator. It’s a drop in – so feel free to stay for as long or as little as you can. \n  \n
