DESCRIPTION:Art as Intervention:\nCan art help build a better future for Palestinians? \nP21 Gallery – 26th August 2015\nHosted by Gaze on Gaza\, this event explored a range of artistic and imaginative strategies which address conflict and occupation; and how art can be created and shared within these conditions. Contributors included: Selma Dabbagh – writer and author of ‘Out of It\,’ Miranda Pennell – filmmaker and member of Artists for Palestine UK\, Kareem Samara – musician and composer\, Aimee Shalan – co-director of Pressure Cooker Arts and James Walmsley – curator.
