SUMMARY:Stand Up Comedy for Beginners (3 part course)
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever thought about trying Stand-Up Comedy or being funny on stage? Or maybe you just fancy a fun evening gaining insights into how comedy works.  In this 3 part course you will work with a professional comedian Lewis Bryan\, who will provide you with guidance\, tips and a chance to get up and make people laugh. \nDates and times (please note you’d need to committ to all)\nWednesday 4 June\, 5-8pm\n\nWednesday 18 June\, 5-8pm\nWednesday 2 July\, 5-8pm \n\nThere is a possibility of an extra session on Wednesday 16th July to try out your new stand up routine in front of live audience.\n\nWhat will you cover during the course: \n\nBeing funny on stage\nConfidence in performing\, getting familiar with being on stage\nHow to maximise laughs and deliver punch lines for stand up\nCreating content for comedy sets (you will develop a 5 min routine)\n\nYou will get the opportunity to try out material and receive feedback from a professional comedian\, and your fellow participants. After the workshop you will be able to build on what you have learned to develop and strengthen your comedy skills and develop a 5 min routine ready to perform at comedy nights. \nBooking \nThis course if for Aberfeldy Village and wider Tower Hamlets residents. Ideally you will be able to commit to all of the dates to get the most out of the course.
