Do you have an idea for a podcast but need some help getting started? This 3 part workshop is for you! The sessions will be led by experienced podcast-maker and Talkaoke host Evi Hall. The workshops will help you realise, shape and get started on creating your unique story through a podcast.
Who is it for
The workshop is for everyone who lives, works, studies or volunteers in E14 and Tower Hamlets more widely. Please note that places for the workshops are limited and we will prioritise local residents. You don’t need any previous experience. Bring your curious mind and an idea for a story or podcast show.

What will the sessions cover
Session 1
What is a podcast and what makes it yours? In this session we focus on developing the unique core of your podcast, its audience and structure the episodes will take, as well as recording your first voice overs.
Session 2
What’s in an interview? This second session focuses on how to arrange, prepare for and record an interview with guest speakers, including hands-on interviewing during the session.
Session 3
What makes it a show? In this final session we focus on the editing process, exploring editing softwares, experimenting with music, ambient sound and how to get your podcast out in the world.
