SUMMARY:Podcast Making for Beginners (3 part workshop) Aberfeldy Stories
DESCRIPTION:Do you have an idea for a podcast but need some help getting started? This 3 part workshop is for you! The sessions will be led by experienced podcast-maker and Talkaoke host Evi Hall. \nAs part of our Aberfeldy Stories project we are inviting you to tell your unique story through a podcast. You don’t need any previous experience. Bring your curious mind and an idea for a story – we will take care of the rest. \nWhat will you do in the workshop\nSession 1: What is a podcast and what makes it yours? In this session we focus on developing the unique core of your podcast\, its audience and what structure the episodes will take.\n\nSession 2: What’s in an interview? This second session focuses on capturing the meat of your podcast and how to arrange\, prepare for and record an interview with guest speakers.\n\nSession 3: How does it fit together? In this final session we focus on the editing process\, exploring editing softwares\, experimenting with music\, ambient sound and other audio forms and how to get your podcast out in the world.\nDates and address\nTuesday 17th Jun\, 5-8pm – Session 1 \nTuesday 24th Jun\, 5-8pm – Session 2 \nTuesday 1st July\, 5-8pm – Session 3 \nAll sessions will take place at Aberfeldy Big Local\, 39 Aberfeldy Street\, E14 0NU\, London. \nWho is it for\nThe workshop is for everyone who lives\, works\, studies or volunteers in Aberfeldy Street area\, E14 and in wider Tower Hamlets.
