SUMMARY:Drama and Voice Workshops for Women
DESCRIPTION:Join us for some fun Drama games and Voice coaching for Acting exercises in a women 18+ only space! You don’t need any previous experiences\, just bring your imagination and your creativity! The sessions will be co-facilitated by Héléna Bissada-Bloch\, a Theatre Maker and Facilitator and by Ania Feranska-Iqbal\, a Voice Acting Coach. \nWhen\nThursday 30 October 2025\, 6.30pm-8.30pm – session 1 \nTuesday 25 November 2025\, 6.30pm-8.30pm  – session 2 \nTuesday 9 December 2025\, 6.30pm-8.30pm – session 3 \n\nWhere\nRepublic London\, 2 Clove Crescent\, London\, E14 2BE\, near East India DLR station. \n  \nWhat will the sessions cover\nSession 1 \n\n\nIce breaking games and exercises \n\n\nExercises for tension release\, breath and posture \n\n\nStorytelling and performance games \n\n\nSession 2 \n\n\nThe exploration of vocal resonance to bring out your full voice \n\n\nUsing still images and drama to reflect on the problems faced by the community and how we can resolve them \n\n\nSession 3 \n\n\nThe exploration of having clear articulation when you speak \n\n\nCreating an interactive performance where participants can discuss an issue that is faced by the community \n\n\nPlease bring/wear some clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable moving into.
