DESCRIPTION:It’s showcase time! Join us for the celebration event of the Aberfeldy Stories project. \nBetween March and August 2025 we took over Aberfeldy Street making it the epicentre of creative activities! We worked with a group of local residents on developing their creative skills and honing stories they want to share with the world. \nJoin us for the Aberfeldy Stories Celebration Evening and enjoy a fun-filled evening of: \n\nLive storytelling\, comedy and poetry performances\nThe premiere of the Aberfeldy Anthem music composition\nFilm screenings: from mystery\, comedy to drama\nNew Podcast Series tackling subjects of art\, addiction\, sports and more\nFast Food & Furious – a computer game inspired by the local wildlife\n\n\nAberfeldy Stories Celebration Evening \nSunday 21st September \n5PM (until 7PM)\nat St. Nicholas’ Church\, Aberfeldy St\, Poplar\, E14 0DQ\nTo attend\, please RSVP before Sunday 14th September by emailing Margot  margot@thepeoplespeak.org.uk\n \nAberfeldy Stories supported by Aberfeldy Big Local shines a light on people’s stories in our Poplar neighbourhood and beyond\, through workshops in creative writing\, music making\, podcasting\, comedy\, performance\, radio and storytelling. \nThank you to our amazing partners Republic London\, The Feldy Centre\, Spotlight Youth Hub\, MIND Tower Hamlets\, for making this happen! \n
